When we worked on the building, the original historical decorations were significantly deteriorated and in some places almost illegible. Through a careful study phase of the traces still present, we reconstructed the original decorative design, integrating it in the most compromised areas with solutions developed in agreement with the client.
The main challenge was the recovery of the surfaces, which required preliminary consolidation and preparation interventions before carrying out the decorations. The work was developed through successive glazes of colour, seeking tones and shades consistent with the historical character of the building and preserving its natural traces of time.
The result restored legibility, character and identity to the entire façade, enhancing the existing heritage without giving up the authenticity that tells its story.
