This project was born from the collaboration with the team in charge of the three-dimensional reproduction of the famous Roman sarcophagus of the “Two Testaments”, created with the authorization of the Vatican Museums and intended for an international exhibition at the Cathedral of Cordoba, in Spain.

To develop a finish as faithful as possible to the original work, we directly studied the artefact preserved in Rome, analyzing its surfaces, colors and traces of time. The challenge was to transfer these characteristics onto a contemporary support, maintaining the character and materiality of the ancient original.

Thanks to our experience in the restoration sector we have contributed to restoring the historical aspect of the work, participating in a project of high cultural value developed in collaboration with the team in charge of the reproduction and with the Vatican Museums.
